为了见被纣王拘禁父亲姬昌一面，姬昌之子伯邑考前往朝歌城去。妲己看出伯邑考心事，骗说将会安排两人见面。妲己当着纣王面前调戏伯邑考，但伯邑考不为所动。最后妲己设计说伯邑考要侵犯，让纣王下令处死伯邑考，姬昌心痛之余誓言，将会好好活下去。另一方面，黄飞虎上禀纣王指出姬昌年事已高不会再为害到纣王，请求纣王释放。纣王同意，不过妲己却派人追杀姬昌，元始天尊找太公望加入封神计划时，并没有把一切说明清楚。因此太公望兴起退出计划念头，不过经过元始天尊说明后，太公望打消辞意。
