人类制造出了机器人、却为其所支配，此时名为露娜的少女出现了。人们都称其为「以月为名的太阳」、并向其寻求救赎。支配世界的布莱金?伯斯感知到露娜存在的危险，于是便命令卡夏、迪奥、雷妲三人追杀露娜，露娜最终死于卡夏之手。紧接着世界便走向[毁灭]，一如露娜所隐藏起来的秘密一样。世界在接下去的数百年中，进入了不再再生被称为「毁灭」的状态。被认为是永久存在的机器人的身体，也变得不能进行零件的交换而不能再生，铁锈的不断侵蚀，名为死亡的事物降临到他们身边。建筑物的形态也都不能维持导致崩坏变形，大地的姿态几乎都变为了荒野一般。在这之间，杀害露娜后而行踪不明的卡夏出现了。已失去了他的记忆并不知道自己是谁。只是、不断有着叫喊自己的名字并来袭击的人。故事由此而开始……
