Kin discovers an eavesdrop device installed by Hong in his house, and is immediately auspicious of Hong. He arranges for Hong to occupy a senior position within the company in order to test him out and collect evidence. Cho Kwan cannot make out why and having failed to persuade Kin to the contrary, spend 'her time on voluntary orphanage work. In order to develop overseas, Kin arranges Hong to be director of Australia to the surprise of Hong. At the departure ward, Kin arranges for Hong to miss the plane, and forces him to take the next flight, which stopovers at Malaysia. Hong is unsettled. When the plane lands at Malaysia, Hong discovers that he is being surrounded by Man’s uncle and police who is there for him. Hong tries to take Kin hostage, but is finally overpowered. Cho Kwan learns of the trap Kin sets down for Hong, and thinks that Kin indirectly causes the death of her son. Unable to take it, she decides to leave Kin.
