Yao-chin and others go to kill Lan Ling. Chang covers up His face and comes to save Lan Ling and puts her in a cave. He also says he suspects that Siang-r is the real spy. Lan Ling takes Chang San-lang to see U Liang Monk and proves that the Mute monk is not Siang-r's mentor. Chang San-lang begins to suspect Siang-r and wants to go back to Wa Gang Zhai to investigate.
