Lesní závod se chystá na soutěž ve zpracování dřeva Stříbrná pila a hlavním favoritem závodu je Vojta Dubiňák. Doprovázejí ho jeho bratři. Ženy by se slavnosti také rády zúčastnily, to se však Vojtovi vůbec nelíbí, má totiž trému. Do Brodců, kde se soutěž koná, odjíždí s bratry sám. Jenže pomlouvačná sousedka Rousková ženám namluví, že soutěž je ve skutečnosti velkým mejdanem, kde prý nebudou chybět ani ženy z brodecké textilky. Žárlivé manželky se proto vydávají za nimi tajně. Cestou píchnou a u benzínky si zamknou vůz. Do Brodců je nakonec odvezou ochotní policisté. Vojta pro ně hledá aspoň jednu volnou postel...
