某天，东京铁塔上突然出现一条西方传说里的飞龙，它盘桓良久，引起大范围的恐慌。远离首都圈的富士山下，坐落着发展缓慢、人丁寥落的光山町，无所事事的青年Yoshio（安田章大 饰）、Kenji（远藤要 饰）终日泡在Youko（莲佛美沙子 饰）的咖啡馆里，事不关己地看着飞龙的新闻。偶然机会，Yoshio意外从旧书店发现一个有着古老历史的卷轴，里面用龙族的文字记载了恶龙和光之战士的故事。他们惊讶地发现，Yoshio、Kenji、Youko以及另一个朋友Tamotsu（本多力 饰）无一例外都有着同样的胎记。莫非他们便是光之战士的后裔？ 这一变故让青年们枯燥的生活顿起波澜，他们按图索骥在镇上寻找四枚水晶和圣剑，准备与恶龙一决雌雄……
