LING is invited to BEN’s home for dinner. FAI, who is also one of the guests invited, does not show up on time, which makes LING worry that FAI is not willing to forgive her. LING is much relieved to hear that FAI has already forgiven her. VINCENT is confident that he will win the case against TANG LOK WAI but sadly he has lost his friends. JESSICA is the only one who feels sympathy for him. LING can finally overcome her psychological barrier and returns to the scene, where she finds some new clues. According to the statements given by TANG LOK WAI’s driver SING, TANG LOK WAI is likely to be found guilty. VINCENT wonders why KIT has suddenly become so confident about the case. He means to approach JESSICA trying to get some useful information from her. VINCENT persuades TANG LOK WAI to plead guilty to the charge of manslaughter but he refuses.
