Eine Frau möchte der Ehe mit ihrem Mann, einem skrupellosen Mafiaboss, entfliehen. Bevor sie sich aus dem Staub macht, stiehlt sie ihrem Gemahl allerdings noch jede Mange Geld, um sich mit ihrem Liebhaber ein neues Leben aufbauen zu können. In der Zwischenzeit überfällt ein abgewrackter Kinderstar gemeinsam mit seinen Kumpels eine Bank. Ein Polizist ist ihnen dicht auf den Fersen. Durch eine Wendung des Schicksals finden sie sich alle in einer abgelegenen Hütte wieder, nichtsahnend, dass sie hier ein noch viel größeres Problem erwartet. Denn was sie nicht wissen: Die kürzlich erfolgten Bauarbeiten haben ein prähistorisches Monster aufgeweckt, das nun in der Gegend sein Unwesen treibt. Und es hat einen Mordshunger!
